Sharing Screenshots for Pros

droplrI caved. I bought an annual subscription to Droplr for my graphic design business, Forward Design. If you constantly share files, especially screenshots, you should check it out. Here’s why I went for it:

1. I wanted a window to pop up immediately with my screenshot that would allow me to annotate that shot for clients. I wanted a service that would automatically copy a link to my clipboard for me to send a file.

2. I wanted keyboard shortcut ease.

3. I wanted branding. I want someone who clicks on a screenshot I send to see my design business logo (if the shot is too small, look in the upper left hand corner). And I wanted the URL to be my domain (drops.forwarddesigner.net).

4. I wanted easy access to all the files and screenshots I’d sent to people.
