Current Kindle Savings

I have now saved $83.26 on books by buying a Kindle.

Admittedly, I would not have purchased some of these books had I not gotten a Kindle… And that would put the figure in the $60s. But I’m sure glad I bought those books (like Nothing to Envy, Stalingrad, and 1776) and read them—and that reading wouldn’t have happened without the Kindle. It makes reading good books in snatches much easier.

    Mark, have you encountered any problems with your Kindle? Some reviewers on Amazon have had trouble with it freezing up after only a short time of owning/using it.

    Just recently it started to reset at random. That wasn’t cool. I backed up my documents and reset the device to factory defaults, and that seemed to help. I’ve had one reset since then, I think. If I have more I think I may send it back for a replacement. I never had that trouble with my Kindle 2—though any device will need to be reset sometimes, and I did have to do that very occasionally.
