Ticker Updated

Two big chapters just got approved, so my Dissertation Word Count Ticker has been duly updated.

Thank you for your prayers, those who have prayed. I’ve been able to accomplish much by God’s grace in recent months. I have some major distance left to travel, but I’m on flat ground rather than on an uphill climb, and I think I see right ahead of me the place where the road turns downhill and I can pick up speed!

I am thankful to the Lord, because two months ago, the ticker looked like this:

That’s a little deceptive, because a huge portion of the research and thinking I used for the writing in the last two months was already done on October 5. But still, the words have flowed fairly quickly.

I have enjoyed the writing and research, but a dissertation does raise questions for you that you either don’t have time or don’t have capacity to answer. One day, however, I will know even as also I am known. I’ll get all this stuff figured out. Until then, I’m happy to learn what God opens my eyes to see (Ps 119:18).
