The New International Commentary on the Old and New Testament (NICOT/NICNT 40 Vols.)

The New International Commentary was just added at my request to BJU’s Logos discount page.

It’s now $1200 for students and professors instead of $1600.

Of course, it pays to pre-pub, because it was once available for $1000.

Hmm. Does this come with more than the 40 current volumes (i.e., new volumes gratis upon publication)? Because CBD has the print set for only $1000… http://www.christianbook.com/international-commentary-old-and-testaments-volumes/pd/92988?event=AAI

I suppose that $200 extra is fine for the portability/searchability that make electronic resources attractive, but I thought lower prices used to be part of that allure too. 🙂

And BTW, I like the new site design. I should get out of GReader more often. 🙂

I’m with you, James. I do hope that lower prices will come someday! I suppose they tend to come at the package level, not necessarily in new commentary sets. And yet I’ve gotten several sets at very good prices. I’m sure the Logos forums have tons of discussion about this issue.

Man, this is tempting! The wallet is willing but the cash is weak.
