Run Windows on Your Mac (PC Owners Ignore)

I think I have a good deal for someone who needs it!

I’m trying to sell my copies of Parallels 6 and Windows Vista Business. They have worked admirably together on my iMac for quite some time (this software is guaranteed for dissertation production), but I no longer require their services. I’m trying to sell Windows and Parallels together for $79. I have checked the EULAs for both pieces of software and I believe it is perfectly legitimate to sell them as long as I give you all original discs and delete the software from my own machine.

What is Your Position on Complementarianism and Egalitarianism?

A female professor of Christian ministry just sent me a survey to fill out. I don't consider myself an expert in this area, but I certainly have tried to be responsible—this is one of those places where the battle over truth is fiercest in my generation. Here were my...

Does “By Faith We Understand” (Heb 11:3) Have It Backwards?

Does “By Faith We Understand” (Heb 11:3) Have It Backwards?

A Christian friend who struggles with doubt recently wrote me asking why I chose the name of long-time blog, byfaithweunderstand.com. Today I was thinking again about those four words “by faith we understand” and I feel a physical reaction to it. It’s hard to swallow...

The New ESV Heirloom Single Column Personal Size Bible

A story in pictures. Because this new ESV Bible—the ESV Heirloom Single Column Personal Size Bible—needs only a one-word review: exquisite. Bloggers write words when none are needed, however, because the word-count of the internet is not yet full—so I will oblige with...

Have You Ever Doubted the Christian Faith?

Have You Ever Doubted the Christian Faith?

A young aspiring pastor recently asked other pastors in a Facebook group what kinds of doubts they’ve had about Christianity, and what they’ve done with those doubts. I replied… I went through a several-month period of doubt during my senior year as a Bible major at...

I have often wondered if I would enjoy my WORDsearch app better on my iMac if i ran it in windows on my iMac….. Note the tone of buyers remorse. A year ago I bought into WORDsearch too quickly after loosing all my books to church fire i used the insurance money to buy a 75% digital library sinking 700 bucks into WORDsearch. Really wish i would have done more research first; think Logos would have been a better fit for me.

Anyways why are you getting rid of it?

If I run Windows on my iMac and use it alone I’m fine. It’s fast. But if I have to switch back and forth and run big apps like Photoshop it slows me down noticeably.
