It doesn’t get much better than this…

…except that my alma mater’s own Warren Cook did it better in 1998 (?) on one of the only two cassette tapes I still treasure. Like, like, like!!!

This arrangement transforms the story of Jericho from a sing-songy children’s tale to the truly terrifying event it must have been. I greatly enjoyed conducting this myself a few years ago.

I’d love to hear the version you speak of. Isn’t it time to upgrade that cassette and get it onto some kind of digital media???

And Moses Hogan…I believe in God’s sovereignty, but it is hard not to be sad about the loss of such a talent in the world of choral music. He was gifted.

H! Pardon the correction, but it was Ruth Z. on the high C back in ’98. =) One of the most fun and challenging songs we ever did.

No—thank you for the correction! I could’ve gone on being wrong for more decades! I’ll fix it…
